Hi, my name's David from Eagles Way Healing, and previously we've talked about the byproduct of healing for the recipient. This time we're going to be talking about the byproduct of healing from the Healer's perspective. Fundamentally, healing is an expression of love, having that deep connection, healing people from a loving space. It has a wonderfully uplifting effect. You're sharing that deep true connection and helping them out, and that has a flow-on effect and a very uplifting effect on yourself as well, being the Healer helping people in whatever life situations they come to you with.
Sometimes when you're healing a certain energy, whatever that may be in the person, you might recognize that energy within yourself. Something twigs and you think, "Ah, that's a very familiar energy, I know that." You may not have accessed it for a long time, but there's a knowingness that it's there. So, you can also clear that energy in yourself at the same time as you're clearing it with your client. That's a nice little bonus that can happen as well. When you do that over hundreds of sessions, you get a lot of unexpected healing yourself, which is nice.
To be very good at this, you need to be in a state of absolute presence when you're working with somebody and healing them. It's a state of no mind; the mind is totally blank, and you're just focused on the different energies and focusing on the problem at hand, which is the energetic states that we're working with. Practicing having that space of no mind is a wonderful spiritual practice. So, healing creates space as well for the Healer because you're constantly tapped into that state of no mind, absolute presence, and connecting with people at a very deep emotional level and being aware of the whole emotional energetic terrain.
It's a very interesting experience; it's almost like a direct experiential feeling of nonduality as you're working with people. Even if it's only for a small period of time, doing that time and time again, it's a wonderful spiritual practice. You have intention, focus, a state of Oneness, a state of no mind, deliberately and intentionally focusing on something, keeping your vibrations high, and being in service. It's very high value, and as a spiritual practice, in my opinion, it's second to none. It's quite extraordinary, especially the whole range of energy work that you can do. It's a very special thing; it's a privilege to be able to share that with people, and it's very uplifting to be part of that.
The other unexpected part about it is that when you're in that state of absolute presence and no mind, focusing on the problem at hand and serving the people, you can tap into an extraordinary wisdom that goes beyond what you as a person might have accumulated in your life. There's a very deep wisdom that you can access and tap into in the service of the person that you're working with, and that can sometimes be quite surprising. What can come out of your mouth as you're talking to somebody, without even realizing it, you're delivering profound insights, wisdom, and direction to people that consciously the mind wouldn't possibly be able to grasp. That is also an unexpected byproduct of healing as a Healer.
So yeah, I hope that's given you some insights from the Healer's perspective as well. It's quite interesting; a lot of my students have also had that exact same feedback, and it's been quite surprising and unexpected for them as well. Similar to being a Healer, they signed up wanting to heal people but not realizing these profound side effects, which actually eclipse the action of healing somebody. Healing somebody is like a very transactional thing, and it's not. It's so much deeper, so much more profound, and spiritually powerful and uplifting. It's very hard to describe how important it is and what incredible wisdom you can tap into.
So, thank you.
